Lori Mercier - Managing Director - Europe

Heading up Douglas Stewart in Europe, Lori Mercier's career includes a decade with Quark in the USA and Europe including commercial management of its UK operations, followed by European Management within pre-press and imaging leader Kodak / Creo where she was responsible for developing and growing a two-tier European software distribution channel for retail, corporate and education markets. Her focus on business development and vendor and channel relations, coupled with her expertise in managing marketing, operations, and customer service, makes Lori Mercier a valuable asset to the Douglas Stewart EDU management team and key to bringing Douglas Stewart EDU's educational value-added distribution expertise to Europe.

Stephen Hedegaard - Sales Director

Stephen Hedegaard joined Douglas Stewart after 14 years with leading software supplier Civica (formerly MSL) during which he built the education software business from scratch to revenues of more than £15 million. His experience includes a deep understanding of all sectors of the UK education market and building effective partnerships with key software vendors. Equally important is his understanding and close working relationship with influential bodies in the education sector.

Bhranti Patel - Financial Controller

Bhranti is the newest addition to our finance and accounts team, her responsibilities include over-seeing day-to-day accounts including vendor and supplier invoices, rebates, credit control, accounts receivable and to reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies. Bhranti's strong financial experience and willingness to learn new processes will allow her to excel within Douglas Stewart EDU as a well versed team member.

Jane Shade - Warehouse and Operations Manager

Jane manages the day to day within our UK and Dutch warehouses and runs our distribution services of a wide range of products available from Douglas Stewart throughout Europe. Prior to Douglas Stewart, Jane joined us from a US-based Aerospace and Electronics company where she managed EMEA and Asia warehouse operations, logistics and customer service. She has solid experience coordinating shipping, imports and exports and ensuring excellent distribution services for our vendor and resellers partners.

Gary Singh - Marketing Executive

Gary is the newest addition to the Douglas Stewart EDU team; starting his marketing career with the company early 2015. Gary brings with him a strong sales background coupled with an Advertising and Marketing degree. He works alongside the Marketing team in both the UK and the US to create new marketing content for our vendors and resellers to promote their products and programs. This position also includes general online housekeeping, all manners of promotions as well as co-ordinating our corporate events.

Ashleigh Boobyer (Team Leader), Lia Edwards, Emma High, Phil Wilder - Our Sales Team

The Sales Support and Account Management team provides outstanding customer service to our resellers and consists of licensing and product specialists who understand the unique EDU pricing, programs and entitlement of our product offerings. As well as looking after the day-to-day sales and order processing at Douglas Stewart EDU, it is their mission to ensure we consistently deliver helpful, efficient and thorough sales assistance.
